Overview

In Captain Blood and the Black Witch command the Black Witch, a pirate airship, and take control of the skies over Atlantis. Ripe for the picking, three super powers trade freely between one another. Captain Blood, once a mindless killing machine for The Enigma Pirate, regains consciousness and realizes he possessed only partial control over his thoughts and actions. Captain Blood’s will is now his own, possessing a powerful ship and a whole world before him, he decides its time to end the reign of The Engima Pirate Nation.

Sword of Babylon

Overview

Evade to live, strike to win. Sword of Babylon is a 3D action game featuring melee attacking and dodging built with the Unreal Development Kit. Set in the ancient Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Mashu, the son of the demi-god Gilgamesh, fights the corrputed Shedu, a lion with a man's head. As Game Designer, I came up with the initial concept and it was my role to design and communicate the core mechanics to the team over an eight week period. I wrote the Game Design document while maintaining constant communication between all development departments to deliver an evocative and exciting gameplay experience in a short period of time.

Overview

Project SEM is a 2D platformer featuring shooting and a double jump. Set in an alternate steam punk World War I, players must infiltrate a German War Industry complex to destroy the XM-8, a prototype steam powered mech. As Team Lead, I came up with the initial concept and gameplay mechanics. I also oversaw and contributed to all the documentation, art, game and level design.

Overview

An animation created by two other people and myself. This was our senior project at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I was the environmental artist, lighting artist, render manager and assisted with camera and character animation.

 

Story

In a world with little connection to the outside universe, a peaceful species of arthropods has found a rare mineral that they regard as a gift from god. However, some have come to discover this mineral as a powerful source of fuel; the largest deposits sitting underneath the alien world, which has yet to be soiled by human hands... Until now.
